Low clouds and fog formed along and east of the dryline this morning as it backed slowly westward into the Pecos Valley of southeastern New Mexico. I shot these photos from C-Hill, overlooking Carlsbad, New Mexico. Its easy to tell that the depth of the moisture was very shallow, with the cloud tops only extending upwards of a couple hundred of feet from the surface.
